Great post, thanks! I am also of the opinion that we find a formula that works for the individual. I intend to work with a literary agent in the future, but I have successfully published 3 novels so far as an Indie and will continue to do so for as long I need. For me it is all about learning as we go, developing our niche in the book publishing world, and combining our writing talents with a proper business knowledge and practice.

It’s just one of those subjects where everyone does have an opinion but, at the end of the day, you need to do what works for you – it’s no good following someone else down their path, hoping they have the secret formula. Do your research!
